We value passion, motivation, and strong problem‑solving skills, and we believe that diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes.We’re not here to keep up—we’re here to lead.About the RoleKey Responsibilities• The primary responsibility of the Estimator is to calculate project budgets based on client requirements and prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates.• Build strong working relationships across internal departments to ensure alignment on project goals and targets.• Prepare bids for new projects and support negotiation of contract terms.• Develop tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.• Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.• Assist in defining client requirements and project expectations.• Provide guidance on procurement strategies.• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.• Prepare risk assessments and pricing structures to support commercial objectives.• Provide input and advice on contractual claims.• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.• Analyze data and prepare reports to identify potential areas for business growth.• Support the development of strategic plans to drive business expansion.Key Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred) from an accredited institution• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in engineering estimation, rate analysis, report preparation, risk analysis, and commercial bid preparation (substation projects only).Skills & Competencies• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and detailed technical reports, presentations, and emails.• Ability to delegate tasks and supervise others effectively.• Strong multitasking abilities and exceptional attention to detail.H&MV Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Ready to energize your career?Join our inclusive team and help build a brighter, more sustainable future—one project at a time.
