Mental Health/Psychiatric Nurse (RN)

What you'll do at DBH :As a Mental Health/Psychiatric RN you will:Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plansObserve, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication and treatmentAs charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support and direction for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recoveryContributes vital input on records, plans, and reportsFacilitate patient group activities This is an hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union) , with a pay range of 13 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule . An additional $1.50/hr shift differential and $3.50/hr PM hours supplement will be applied to all hours worked between 3pm and 7am . Normal working hours are 5 8-hour shifts a week for full-time. All shifts include an every other weekend rotation. Full-time first and second shift are currently available. We also have a part time Sat/Sun night shift (6:30pm-7am) every weekend currently available. First shift hours are 6:30am-3pm, second shift hours are 2:30pm-11pm.
