The company’s portfolio includes many of the world’s most respected and influential media properties including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Self, GQ, The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler/Traveller, Allure, AD, Bon Appétit and Wired, among others.Job DescriptionLocation:New York, NYOverviewThe Senior Director of Creator Strategy & Partnerships will lead the development and execution of VETTE’s creator ecosystem as a core component of the brand’s audience growth, content strategy, and commerce performance.This role is responsible for establishing a scalable creator program that integrates talent into editorial, social, and shopping experiences, while also driving measurable business outcomes including engagement, conversion, and revenue contribution.The Senior Director will oversee creator partnerships end-to-end, including talent strategy, program design, storefront merchandising, performance analytics, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires both strategic leadership and operational ownership, and will manage resources, external relationships, and internal processes to ensure the creator program supports VETTE’s long-term brand and business objectives.In addition, this role will oversee industry- and consumer-facing marketing for the VETTE platform, including the development and execution of communications and marketing strategy to drive platform awareness, creator and vendor growth, and unique market positioning against competitors.While the role will collaborate with broader Condé Nast teams when relevant, its primary mandate is the growth and performance of VETTE.Core Responsibilities Creator Program LeadershipDefine and implement VETTE’s creator strategy across content, audience, and commerce initiativesBuild a scalable program structure including talent tiers, partnership models, onboarding processes, and performance expectationsEstablish governance for creator selection, brand alignment, and content standardsOversee creator contracts, compensation structures, and relationship management Talent Strategy & Partnership OversightIdentify, recruit, and retain creators aligned with VETTE’s positioning and growth prioritiesStructure partnership models (retainer, project-based, revenue share, licensing, etc.) in collaboration with legal and financeManage long-term creator relationships and ensure consistent performance and brand alignmentDevelop frameworks for integrating creators into editorial franchises, social programming, and brand initiatives Creator Storefront Strategy & MerchandisingOwn the strategy and operational framework for creator storefronts and shopping integrationsPartner with commerce and editorial teams to ensure product selections reflect both brand standards and performance goalsEstablish merchandising guidelines for creator edits, seasonal collections, and campaign-driven assortmentsOversee testing and optimization of storefront formats to improve conversion, AOV, and repeat engagement Insights, Analytics & Performance ManagementDefine KPIs for creator programs across content, audience, and commerce performanceImplement reporting frameworks to measure:Creator content reach and engagementStorefront performance and revenue contributionAudience acquisition and retention impactTranslate performance data into actionable recommendations for talent mix, content strategy, and merchandising decisionsProvide regular performance updates to senior leadership Cross-Functional LeadershipServe as the central point of coordination for creator initiatives across editorial, audience, commerce, product, marketing, and partnerships teamsEnsure creator initiatives are integrated into business planning cycles and brand prioritiesPartner with revenue teams to support the inclusion of creators in advertiser-facing opportunities where appropriate Team & Resource ManagementBuild and manage a team supporting creator partnerships and program executionEstablish workflows and processes that allow the creator program to scale efficientlyManage external vendors or agencies as neededContribute to budget planning for creator partnerships and program investmentQualifications10+ years of experience in digital media, creator partnerships, talent management, social/video strategy, or commerce-driven content environmentsExperience building and scaling creator or talent programs with measurable business impactDemonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholdersStrong understanding of social platforms, creator monetization models, and audience growth strategiesExperience using analytics to guide strategic decisions and resource allocationExperience managing teams and external partnersFamiliarity with fashion, lifestyle, or shopping-driven media strongly preferredThe expected base salary range for this position is from $170,000 - $222,000.
