Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, supervisory, and communication skills, with experience in office management as well as optician experience. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, manage various administrative functions, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization.
Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties, insurance verification and billing, pre-testing for optometrist, eyeglass/contact lens assistance and sales
Oversee daily office tasks, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events when necessary
Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees
Requirements
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills
Supervising experience with team management capabilities
Optician experience preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and front desk operations efficiently
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in schedule management and document control
Prior experience in medical office management or similar environments is a plus
Demonstrated ability to train staff and support team development efforts
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
