The ideal candidate is an expert Python developer with 3+ years of team leadership experience, strong architectural capabilities, and hands-on development skills in distributed environments. This is a highly technical leadership role in a collaborative, fast-moving team.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of developers in building scalable and distributed Python-based systems Mentor, guide, and support junior and mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight Develop clean, production-level code using modern Python best practices Architect and implement system integrations with non-Python APIs and services Own end-to-end delivery: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and performance tuning Identify and resolve concurrency issues, threading bottlenecks, and latency concerns Drive CI/CD best practices and enforce testing standards across the codebase Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams (product, infrastructure, QA) to deliver integrated solutions Technical Requirements:100% hands-on Python development 3+ years of experience in leading and managing development teams Strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture Solid experience with concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming Advanced debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities Hands-on experience with system integration and API consumption Ability to translate complex technical challenges into scalable solutions Preferred Skills & Tools:Experience with PyTorch (not ML-heavy but helpful) Familiarity with Scientific Python tools: SciPy, NumPy, Pandas Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes a plus
