Duties

Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations, including proper storage, sanitation, and temperature controls.
Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish development, ingredient selection, and portion control to optimize quality and efficiency.
Supervise food preparation activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment upkeep and inventory management.
Support dietary department needs by understanding special dietary requirements and accommodating requests when necessary.
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards to foster a skilled and cohesive team.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Participate in catering events or special functions as required, demonstrating versatility in food presentation and service.
Skills
