You Belong Here.Your responsibilitiesThe Head of Human Resources North America will serve as the senior-most HR leader for the region, responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking people strategy that supports business growth, elevates leadership capability, and strengthens BSH's positioning as a luxury and premium brand employer of choice. This executive will partner with the North America Board (CEO, CFO, COO), the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and global HR (GHR) leadership to drive organizational transformation, operational excellence, and a culture of high performance and accountability.Strategic Leadership Define and deliver the HR strategy for North America aligned with business growth and global frameworks. Act as a trusted advisor to the North America Board and leadership team on organizational effectiveness. Partner with global HR members to influence strategy and ensure alignment across regions. Anticipate workforce needs and design agile, scalable people solutions. Build HR credibility as a driver of business value and cultural transformation.Talent & Leadership Development Establish a strong leadership pipeline for critical roles across functions. Strengthen executive development through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. Evolve talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in luxury, manufacturing, and critical roles. Enhance learning and development programs to future-proof workforce skills. Ensure workforce adaptability through effective change management initiatives.HR Operations & Governance Lead all HR functions including total rewards, talent acquisition & management, employee relations / labor law, and compliance. Standardize HR processes while tailoring to U.S., Canada, and Mexico requirements. Use HR analytics and workforce insights to drive evidence-based decisions. Ensure compliance with all labor and employment regulations in the region. Partner with global HR to align compensation, policies, and systems with local needs.Change & Transformation Leadership Lead HR's role in BSH's luxury brand transformation journey. Drive organizational redesign and workforce planning to support business priorities. Champion adoption of new HR technologies and digital tools. Support leadership and teams in navigating change with agility. Continuously improve HR services and delivery models to enhance efficiency.Perform all other duties as assigned.Your profile Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration or Law Required Master's Degree Business Administration or Human Resources Preferred 15+ Years Human Resources, Corporate/Manufacturing Required 10+ Years People Management Experience Required Proven track record of senior HR leadership (15+ years), including global and regional responsibility. Deep expertise in North American employment practices, compliance, and labor markets. Strategic and global mindset with strong business and financial acumen. Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and cultural change. Experience within luxury/premium brands, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries. Strong knowledge of U.S., Canada, and Mexico labor relations, including federal, state, and provincial laws. Broad foundation across HR disciplines: employment, compensation, benefits, training, organizational development, employee relations, and workforce security. Proven experience in strategic workforce and organizational planning. Successful track record in union avoidance and navigating complex labor environments. Executive presence with the ability to influence and partner effectively with C-suite leaders. Collaborative and cross-functional leadership style, fostering alignment across global teams. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to lead through change. Results-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems (SAP strongly preferred). Travel Percentage: 30%This is a hybrid position working out of the Irvine, California office. Candidate must live within a reasonable distance to the Irvine, CA office.Your Pay & BenefitsThe pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.Benefits offered include the following: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term disability benefits, employee assistance program (EAP), Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA) participation starting on the first day of the calendar month following date of hire. Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH. Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions. The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line). 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line). 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).
