Our team works with clients facing serious tax challenges and guides them toward practical solutions and financial stability.We operate in a fast-paced environment focused on strong client support, efficient case management, and real results.About the Role:FreshTax is seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent or Tax Attorney to join our Resolution team.In this role, you will represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities, develop resolution strategies, and guide cases through the negotiation and settlement process.You will work closely with Case Managers and internal departments to ensure cases move forward efficiently and clients receive strong representation throughout the process.This is a full-time, in-office position at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters.Compensation:$100,000 – $200,000 annuallyCompensation structure based on experience and performanceResponsibilities:Client Representation:Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authoritiesCommunicate with the IRS through phone, fax, and written correspondenceTax Resolution Strategy:Analyze client financials and determine appropriate resolution strategiesPrepare and submit tax relief programs including:Offer in Compromise (OIC)Installment AgreementsCurrently Not Collectible (CNC)Innocent Spouse ReliefPenalty AbatementCase Oversight:Provide direction to Case Managers on documentation and case preparationReview case files and ensure compliance with IRS requirementsMonitor case progress and ensure resolution timelines are metNegotiation & Problem Solving:Work to resolve IRS enforcement actions such as:Wage garnishmentsBank leviesFederal tax liensAdvocate for the best possible outcome for each clientQualifications:Required:Active Enrolled Agent license or licensed Tax AttorneyExperience representing clients before the IRSStrong knowledge of IRS collections and resolution programsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseloadPreferred:Experience in a tax resolution firmStrong negotiation and client management skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensationConsistent case flowAdministrative and case management supportOpportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding firmCollaborative team environmentWork Schedule:Monday – FridayFull-timeLocation:On-site at our Santa Ana, CA officeEqual Opportunity EmployerFreshTax is an equal opportunity employer committed to maintaining an inclusive workplace for all employees.J-18808-Ljbffr
