Machine Operation / Heat Treat

Overview We are seeking a few skilled Machine Operators specializing in Heat Treat processes to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining various machinery to ensure high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with CNC and manual equipment, and a commitment to safety and precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Details: 2nd and 3rd shift openings currently available Some OT on weekends as needed $18 - $19.50 depending on shift Weekly Pay Temp-to-hire opportunity! Responsibilities: Operate heat treat equipment and related machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and fabrication tools. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery to optimize performance. Conduct quality control inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards; follow all factory safety protocols including welding procedures when necessary. Assist in tooling setup, fabrication tasks, and assembly processes to support production goals. Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, fabrication, tooling setup, and materials handling. Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and basic math skills for quality control purposes. Prior Machine Operation experience is highly desired Heat Treat positions require ability to work around active ovens where temperatures can be quite high.
