Delivery Driver
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with clients. Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and route driving is highly valued.
Duties
Safely operate a box truck or commercial vehicle to deliver products across designated routes
Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
Ensure accurate loading and securement of items to prevent damage during transit
Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods promptly and professionally
Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing shipments when necessary
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with route driving and courier services
Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving and heavy lifting
Warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Familiarity with safety protocols related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
Ability to work independently, follow schedules precisely, and manage time efficiently
