Learning Management Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Learning Management Assistant to join our team in Woodlawn, Maryland. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our Learning Management System (LMS) and providing essential assistance in coordinating and managing training programs. The ideal candidate will hold a Public Trust clearance, be proficient in LMS administration, and thrive in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Management System Administration:
Manage and maintain user accounts, course enrollments, and training schedules within the LMS.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LMS users, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
Assist in the creation, uploading, and updating of training materials and resources within the LMS.
Generate and analyze reports to monitor training progress, completion rates, and compliance.
Training Coordination:
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating training sessions, webinars, and other learning activities.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, certifications, and feedback.
Prepare and distribute communications related to training programs and updates to participants.
Hybrid Work Management:
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between remote and in-office team members.
Ensure that necessary supplies and equipment are available for in-office workdays.
Participate in meetings both virtually and in-person as required.
Maintain a productive and organized remote work environment.
General Administrative Support:
Handle incoming communications, including emails, calls, and other correspondence related to training.
Assist with data entry and the maintenance of both electronic and physical filing systems.
Support special projects and other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience in an administrative or learning management role.
Public Trust clearance is required.
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment.
High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with specific LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas).
Familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
Previous experience in an educational or training setting.
Working Conditions:
This position is based in Woodlawn, Maryland, and requires working both remotely and in-office (2 days per week).
Must have a reliable internet connection for remote work.
Occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate training schedules.

Pay: $42,118.34 - $50,723.17 per year
