Senior HR GeneralistLocation:White Plains, NYAbout the Opportunity:We're partnering with an exceptional organization in Westchester County, looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to be the right hand to the Director of HR in leading the department. The ideal candidate will be hands on in all aspects of HR - onboarding and orientation, benefits, LOAs, payroll, employee relations, etc.What You'll Do:Act as the go-to resource for employee questions on payroll, benefits, policies, and HR proceduresAdminister payroll processes and manage employee leave programs (handling approximately 25 cases annually)Lead benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and employee communicationsFacilitate new hire onboarding and orientation for 30+ employees each yearExecute end-to-end HR operations supporting the complete employee experienceEnsure accuracy and compliance in HRIS systems and employee documentationDrive HR initiatives and special projects independentlyDeliver responsive, professional support to staff across all organizational levelsMust-Haves:5+ years of hands-on HR generalist experienceSolid foundation in payroll operations and leave administrationStrong communication skills with a service-oriented approachProfessional demeanor with ability to navigate complex employee situations tactfullySelf-directed work style with strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesConsistent track record of tenure and reliability in previous rolesNice-to-Haves:Experience with ADP or similar HRIS platformsPrevious people management or team leadershipBackground in education or nonprofit settingsBilingual in English and Spanish is idealDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
