Solution Design Engineer

Job Description:Provide engineering support for proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectivesEngineering support may include data analysis, concept of operations, design layouts, identifying processes, build engineering models and develop customer proposalsContinuous development of engineering skills to design distribution center operationsWork with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals on a timely basisProvide engineering support for other operational improvements as requestedIncorporate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when appropriateRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related fieldMinimum 2 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutionsExperience in engineering Distribution CentersProficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPointKnowledge of WMS functionalityExperience in warehouse automation applications a plusSix Sigma and Lean certification a plusBenefits:Competitive Paid Time Off401(k)Health insuranceEmployee benefits platform with discounts on gym memberships and various retail brandsCompany paid life insurance and accident insuranceShort- and long-term disability coverageEmployee assistance planTuition reimbursement program
