We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our assurance group. The Audit Manager auditor will work closely and be mentored directly by their partners. This is an ideal role for a manager who is on track to reach Senior Manager level in the next 6 to 12 months and is looking for a firm that will provide both the platform and mentorship to get there. ResponsibilitiesManage and lead audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting phases, while adhering to established timelines and quality standards. Review financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify risks, evaluate controls, and develop audit procedures to mitigate potential issues. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address audit findings, resolve discrepancies, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Mentor and support staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to foster their professional growth and development. Develop and maintain effective client relationships. Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities. Perform other job-related duties as necessary. QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. CPA license is required. 6+ years of progressive experience in auditing, with demonstrated proficiency in leading audit engagements and managing client relationships, with at least 1 year in a manager role. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP is required. Government Contracting experience is strongly preferred. Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering accurate and insightful audit reports. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and facilitate constructive dialogue. Ability to meet deadlines and budget time efficiently.
