From complex 3D graphics in the browser with WebGL to data-rich applications, you enjoy the challenge of building pixel-perfect, performant web applications. Having Fortune 500 customers doesn’t scare you; you can write stable, high-quality code quickly and efficiently. You are comfortable working with a distributed team across timezones and have the written communication skills to be effective.What You'll DoDesign, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve softwareManage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverablesDesign and implement new user-facing features in Doxel’s productsWrite client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypesOptimize web applications to maximize speed and scaleWhat You'll Bring To The Team 3+ years of overall software development experience, with an emphasis on web applications3+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Rails, Redux, Ractive, Ember, or Angular, along with the knowledge of when to use them3+ years of experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5, CSS3, JavascriptExperience as a member of a UI design team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched applicationsExperience building rich data-driven web applicationsSome hands-on experience with: Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud/AWS, Swagger/gRPCBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical disciplinePreferred QualificationsStrong eye towards pixel-perfect design with a portfolio to back it upExperience with vector and motion graphics, including SVG, HTML5 Canvas, WebGL (ThreeJS) and animation via JavaScript and CSSStrong understanding of data visualization best practicesFamiliar with running a high-availability production service. Have been primary oncall beforeStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe base salary for this position is $135,000 - $180,000, plus equity and benefits.
