ECM Troubleshooting Engineer (Failure Analysis Engineer)

The onsite engineer would be responsible for the• Experience in automotive electronics troubleshooting• Strong understanding of auto Engine Control Modules (ECMs) and related subsystems • Proficiency in reading and interpreting; Electrical schematics, Wiring diagrams• Experience working with Auto ECUs/ECMs validation, or field return analysis• Hands-on experience with lab equipment: Oscilloscopes, Digital mustimeters, Power supplies and electronic loads• Ability to diagnose Component-level failures, electrical issues, Thermal-related faults• Experience using diagnostic tools (e.g., CAN analysers)• Strong root cause analysis capability: (5-Why, Fishbone, fault isolation)• Ability to Recreate failures in lab environments & work independently• Ability to read logs and correlate software behaviour with hardware issues• Effective communication with design, manufacturing, and quality teams• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
