Technical Product Marketer, Developer Platform
Overview
In this role you will be the developer voice within Platform Marketing, shaping technical narratives for Workday Build, Workday AI Platform, and the agent ecosystem. You’ll translate complex platform capabilities into developer-ready content, support launches and education, and help ensure messaging is credible and useful to developers. You collaborate cross-functionally to align on roadmap insights and improve the developer experience. This is an opportunity to influence how developers understand and adopt our platform at scale.

ResponsibilitiesOwn developer-facing technical content across the platform (demos, blogs, solution briefs, API narratives, documentation direction)Act as a technical reviewer and creator for go-to-market strategy to ensure credible developer messagingTranslate platform capabilities into clear, developer-friendly narratives for Workday Build, Workday AI Platform, and the agent ecosystemPartner with Developer Relations to capture developers' needs and prioritiesCollaborate with portfolio product management to stay connected to the roadmap and bring developer/market perspectives to positioningImprove the quality of developer-facing content by identifying gaps and raising the bar for technical credibility
Key requirementsMinimum 5 years in product marketing, technical marketing, developer marketing, developer relations, product management, or related rolesMinimum 3 years creating technical content for developers (demos, blogs, documentation, API content, launch materials)Minimum 3 years experience with software platforms, developer tools, APIs, integrations, cloud apps, AI platforms, or enterprise techExperience partnering with cross-functional teams to bring technical products to marketExperience translating technical capabilities into clear messaging for external audiencesUnderstanding of developer audiencesStrong technical storytelling abilityExperience creating hands-on or developer-facing assetsDemosTechnical blogsAPI narratives
