This role is responsible for acquiring land rights necessary for project development and construction through effective landowner communication, negotiations, documentation management, and coordination with internal project teams.The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, negotiation experience, and the ability to work independently in both office and field environments.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct landowner outreach and maintain professional relationships with property owners and stakeholdersNegotiate easements, access agreements, temporary workspace agreements, and related land rightsExplain project requirements, impacts, and compensation packages to landownersCoordinate with project management, survey, title, engineering, environmental, and legal teamsMaintain accurate acquisition records, reports, and project documentationTrack acquisition progress and provide timely status updatesPerform field visits and property inspections as neededSupport public meetings and community outreach activities when requiredEnsure compliance with company standards, project procedures, and applicable regulationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree preferredExperience in right-of-way, land acquisition, real estate, or utility projects preferredElectric transmission, pipeline, renewable energy, or infrastructure experience preferredStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/database systemsValid driver's license requiredAbility to travel regularly within assigned project areasState real estate license required where applicable by state lawPreferred QualificationsIRWA certificationExperience reading title documents, legal descriptions, and survey exhibitsFamiliarity with utility corridor or infrastructure projectsBenefitsLiberty Core Consultants offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Benefits may include:Competitive payMileage and per diem opportunities (project dependent)Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offProfessional development opportunitiesAbout Liberty Core ConsultantsLiberty Core Consultants provides land and right-of-way services supporting utility, energy, and infrastructure development projects across the United States.
