Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC and refrigeration experience to help keep our facility operating safely and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in supporting production by maintaining the building systems and utilities that keep our manufacturing environment running smoothly.As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of facility systems. This includes refrigeration systems such as ammonia and glycol, boilers, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, pumps, and other facility equipment. You will also perform preventative maintenance, respond to maintenance requests, and troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime.The ideal candidate is hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced food manufacturing environment. Work must always be completed in a clean, organized, and food safe manner while meeting all company sanitation standards.ScheduleWeekend 12-hr Day Shift: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.Work 36 hours and get paid for 40Enjoy 4 days off every week – that is 16+ days off per monthPayMinimum starting pay $25/hr. + $2 weekend differential = $27/hr. to start$25.00 to $39.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.BenefitsINSURANCE BENEFITS START DAY 1! (Full pay for holiday shut-downs on scheduled work days, 2.5x pay for holidays worked)401k with 6% company match!And don't forget FREE ICE CREAM!!!RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or a similar technical environmentExperience performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on facility systems including refrigeration systems such as ammonia and glycol, boilers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pumps, and appliancesExperience conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of facility systemsAbility to respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational impactStrong knowledge of refrigeration systems with ammonia experience highly preferredHands on experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems preferredProficiency troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systemsAbility to safely operate a wide range of hand tools and power toolsStrong independent problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervisionFamiliarity with OSHA safety regulations and commitment to following company safety policiesAbility to maintain accurate and detailed maintenance recordsHigh attention to detail with the ability to keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standardsStrong verbal, written, and digital communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with maintenance staff and other departments to improve facility performanceFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected maintenance challenges.
