Staff Accountant/Loan Administrator

Job Description Staff Accountant/Loan AdministratorPartners Capital Solutions is seeking a dynamic Loan Administrator to join the accounting and finance team in our Calabasas office. This position reports to the Fund Controller and will assume the day-to-day accounting and administration of construction, bridge and value-add loans on commercial and residential real estate. Duties include loan portfolio maintenance in the servicing system and disbursement/receipt of funds from initial funding through reconveyance of the collateral. This position is in constant contact with origination & accounting teams, as well as borrowers with multiple tasks open at any given point. The candidate should be self-motivated, work effectively in teams, detail oriented, and be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Duties And Responsibilities:Set up wires for initial fundings & construction drawsReview & utilize documentation from the originations to set up loans in the servicing systemProcess loan payment activity and processing payments to lendersReconcile the Trust account cash balance dailyPreparation of payoff demands & collateral reconveyancesProcess month end activities within the servicing system and reconcile receivable balances in the accounting systemProvide month end reports for use by accountingMaintain collateral insurance trackingReview preliminary notices & forward to the third-party fund controlManage Accounts Payable to ensure all vendor invoices are booked and approved in a timely mannerDesired Skills:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or prior accounting experienceMust be extremely organizedGood interpersonal skillsGreat with time management to meet deadlinesIntermediate or Advanced level Excel capabilitiesMust be able to work in both a team environment & individual projectsExcellent communicator with all levels within/outside of the organization (i.e management, clients, investors, etc…)Prior experience with the following is a plus, but not required:The Mortgage Office - Loan Origination and Servicing SystemSage Intacct - Accounting SoftwareA general understanding of the loan life cycle as described above.Work Environment: This position will be in the Calabasas, CA office, utilizing a normal 8am to 5pm workday.Our management team brings deep industry relationships, unparalleled real estate lending experience with extensive background in commercial and residential real estate development, investment, lending and mortgage banking.
