Mechanical Engineer Location: North Canton, OH, 44720 Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in North Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design and engineering with a strong focus on motor and pneumatic system sizing, as well as design for manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software such as Inventor or equivalent. Perform servo and AC motor sizing to meet application requirements. Size gearboxes to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Size pneumatic components including cylinders and related hardware. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to improve product manufacturability and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, electrical engineering, and project management. Utilize CRM tools to manage project documentation and customer interactions effectively. Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities. Required Skills and Qualifications Proficiency with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or equivalent. Experience in servo and AC motor sizing. Knowledge of gearbox sizing and selection. Experience with pneumatic system sizing, including cylinders and components. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. Familiarity with CRM software for project and customer management. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
