Our talented technology group is looking for a senior TypeScript / Angular developer to work in the geographically distributed development team on our award-winning Citi Velocity platform. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with excellent development & communication skills to drive the next generation of GUI applications for the global FX business.Responsibilities:Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applicationsReview and analyze proposed technical solutions for projectsCoordinate with QA teamLiaison with the global business, support and development teamsTroubleshoot performance and scalability issuesThird line support of the platform during trading hoursInteract closely with the business product manager and other internal business users covering FX tradingDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goalsProvide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situationsEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standardsQualifications:5-7 years of relevant experience in TypeScript and AngularExpertise in prompting of LLMs and getting the most from AI modelsExcellent understanding of TypeScript, Angular and Browser internalsUnderstanding of network protocols and Internet infrastructureExperience in production application support and developmentStakeholder and people management experienceDemonstrated leadership skillsKnowledge of industry practices and standardsClear and concise written and verbal communicationTechnical Skills Required: core TypeScript language and Angular framework; knowledge of React is a plusEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$142,320.00 - $213,480.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
