Title: Quality Control Inspector IILocation: Technology Drive, Newark, DE 19702Duration: 6 months of contractShift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM; Mon – FriNEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st SHIFTfirst 3-4 weeks will be on 1st shift training before moving to 2nd shift.1st shift hours: 6am - 2:30pmJob Description:Performs inspections, testing, and sampling procedures for product manufacturing. Includes packaging line and incoming material checks. Reviews and releases Device History Records. May assist with validation or troubleshooting of testing methods.Routine assignments with limited judgmentAcquires job skills and follows company proceduresWorks under moderate supervisionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and promote a safe work environmentConduct inspections of in-process and finished goodsRecord and maintain quality control documentationSupport investigations into non-conforming productsSupport process audits for SOP and WI adherenceInitiate Non-Conforming Events (NCEs)Review device history records and sales ordersParticipate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiativesComplete training requirements and maintain recordsRegular, punctual attendance and ability to work overtimeQualificationsEducationMinimum: High School Diploma or GEDAssociate degree preferredExperience1-2 years preferredQuality assurance or manufacturing experience beneficialExperience in FDA-regulated medical device environment beneficialFamiliarity with Oracle ERP or Agile PLM beneficial
