Software EngineerAbout the CompanyPrecision Technologies is a technology solutions company supporting clients across diverse industries with skilled technology professionals and innovative digital solutions.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on software development experience to support client projects across the United States.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend development, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working on complex, scalable applications and be open to working from client locations based on project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performing applications using Java and modern backend technologies.Build and enhance Spring Boot applications, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.Develop clean, maintainable, and production-quality code following software engineering best practices.Work with relational databases and data-access technologies to design efficient application solutions.Integrate applications with third-party systems, messaging platforms, and enterprise services.Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and improve application performance and reliability.Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, business analysts, and product teams.Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.Support applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.Required Skills8+ years of hands-on software development experienceStrong expertise in JavaStrong experience with Spring Boot and Spring FrameworkHands-on experience building REST APIs and MicroservicesStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databasesExperience with JPA / HibernateExperience with application integration and distributed systemsStrong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principlesExperience with Git and modern development workflowsStrong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with one or more of the following is preferred:AWS, Azure, or GCPApache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologiesDocker and KubernetesJenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD toolsRedis or distributed caching technologiesReact or AngularJava concurrency and multithreadingHigh-volume or mission-critical enterprise applicationsLocationMultiple Client Locations Across the USACandidates should be open to relocation based on client and project requirements.Employment TypeFull-Time / W2Work AuthorizationAll visa types are welcome to apply.Experience Level8+ YearsEqual Opportunity EmployerPrecision Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
