This role is focused on managing chargebacks and deductions related to Walmart , so prior experience working with Walmart's compliance and deduction systems is required .As a key member of our finance team, you will investigate, resolve, and prevent chargebacks while collaborating with sales, logistics, and operations. This position offers a stable, full-time opportunity with one remote work day per week .Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate, validate, and resolve chargebacks and deductions, with a focus on Walmart accountsMonitor Walmart Retail Link and vendor portals for deduction activityReconcile and manage AR aging reports related to chargebacks and short-paysWork cross-functionally with internal teams to gather documentation for disputesSubmit dispute claims through Walmart's portal in a timely and accurate mannerIdentify chargeback trends and help implement process improvements to reduce future issuesMaintain detailed documentation and logs of all chargeback resolutionsPrepare monthly reports on chargeback activity, recovery, and root cause analysisAssist with month-end close processes related to AR and chargebacksSupport audits and ensure compliance with both internal and customer-specific policiesQualifications3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Chargeback/Deduction ManagementDirect experience with Walmart chargebacks and Retail Link (required)Proficient with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)Understanding of EDI and vendor compliance standardsStrong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience in retail, consumer goods, or logistics is a plusSeniority level Seniority level AssociateEmployment type Employment type Full-timeJob function Job function Accounting/AuditingIndustries Food and Beverage ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at RemX | The Workforce Experts by 2xSign in to set job alerts for "Accounts Receivable Specialist" roles.
