Spare Parts Lead

The Spare Parts Lead is responsible for overseeing the effective processing of warranty and maintenance-related spare parts requests while serving as a subject matter expert and functional leader within the Spare Parts team.This role builds upon the Technical and Spare Parts Specialist position by handling complex and escalated cases, ensuring consistency in service delivery, and supporting team development through training and mentorship.As a global leader with an organizational focus on people, passion, progress, and performance, our mission is to create healthier and happier communities by delivering the best in play and fitness solutions. We exceed sustainability efforts and make it possible to lower carbon emissions by utilizing recycled ocean waste, consumer-recycled plastics, and textile waste to create playgrounds that are born green or made green.What You’ll DoLead and manage complex, high-priority, or escalated spare parts and warranty casesIdentify, order, and track spare parts for playground and outdoor fitness equipmentDiagnosing product failures by reviewing technical documentation, installation records, and submitted photos to determine warranty eligibilityEnsure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with customers, sales representatives, installers, and internal teamsCreate quotes and purchase orders using ERP and CRM systems and track orders through fulfillment and deliveryCollaborate with Quality, Technical, Logistics, and Installation Services teams to resolve missing parts, damaged materials, and warranty approvalsSupport active installations by resolving parts issues that could impact installation schedulesAct as a point of escalation and guidance for Technical and Spare Parts SpecialistsAssist with onboarding and training of new team members, including systems, processes, and technical knowledgeSupport the development and maintenance of training materials, job aids, and process documentationEncourage consistent response times, data accuracy, and service standards across the teamIdentify and recommend process improvements related to parts management, warranty handling, and internal workflowsProvide departmental coverage during peak workload periods or staffing gapsAssist leadership with reporting, audits, and data integrity related to spare parts activityProvides functional leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to Technical and Spare Parts SpecialistsSupports team capability and development through training and knowledge sharingPromotes collaboration, accountability, and a high standard of customer serviceActs as a trusted partner to management in supporting team performance and operational efficiencyDoes not have direct people-management responsibilities but is expected to lead by exampleWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s Degree preferredAt least one year in the Spare Parts Specialist Role at KOMPAN.
