About the Opportunity:The Healthcare Revenue Integrity Specialist role is responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in payment processing within the revenue cycle. This role contributes by reviewing and reconciling payment batches, validating payer and claim data, supporting month-end financial close activities, and maintaining documentation for audit readiness. The position identifies opportunities to improve payment integrity and enhances revenue accuracy, impacting the organization’s financial operations and compliance.3. Responsibilities:• Reconcile daily payment batches against bank deposits, resolving unapplied or unmatched items• Audit claim and payment data for accuracy, denial status, and correct payer assignment• Validate reimbursements against contracted fee schedules and expected payments• Monitor deposit aging, adjustment codes, and denial trends; escalate discrepancies• Maintain accurate reconciliation documentation and support audit readiness• Prepare denial feedback and reconciliation summaries to aid process improvements• Verify reconciliations and reports for month-end financial close• Assist with payment integrity projects such as underpayment reviews and payer audits• Collaborate with Billing, Quality, and Compliance teams to refine processes• Present reconciliation findings and payer insights in revenue review meetings4. Requirements:• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field preferred• 2 to 3 years of experience in payment reconciliation, healthcare billing, or revenue cycle operations• Proficiency with EHR/RCM platforms (e.g., Candid, Availity, Waystar), Excel or Google Sheets, and payment posting systems• Strong attention to numerical accuracy and ability to interpret payer remittance advice• Understanding of HIPAA, PCI, and healthcare payer regulations• Preferred: Experience in multi-state telehealth or large outpatient provider settings• Preferred: Certifications in Medical Billing & Coding and payment posting experience5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Target pay rate: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour6.
