Engineer (Transportation and Mobility)
The Transportation Engineer plays a key role in shaping the city's mobility network by managing the planning, design, and construction of roadway, pedestrian, bike, and traffic improvement projects. This position leads capital improvement initiatives, oversees the ADA transition plan, reviews private development proposals, and provides technical guidance across city departments. The role also conducts traffic engineering analyses to enhance safety and optimize traffic flow while serving as a responsive resource for residents with infrastructure or transportation concerns.
