Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionJOB TITLE: CNC Operator I 2nd ShiftJOB SUMMARYThe CNC Operator I is responsible for continually learning how to operate machinery in CNC.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSAt least 1 year of experience using hand and power toolsMust be able to lift 50lbsPREFERRED SKILLSCommunication and problem-solving skillsReliable and dependableWillingness to learn to run CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machiningCORE DUTIESLearn to Operate CNC Machines with little assistanceLearn how to work with complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard chartsLearn how to make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for material tooling, machine, or program conditionsLearn to make tool offsets with no assistanceLearn to inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyOperate CNC machines without supervision after receiving the proper trainingOther duties as assignedHOURS2nd shiftMonday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.Friday OT if neededSPECIAL REQUIREMENTSCandidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
