Senior Designer (FTE + West Coast)

Boutique design agency with notable CPG clientele is seeking to grow their design team. They're looking for a Senior Designer with strong packaging chops to join their growing design team in an FTE role This is a fully remote role but you must be able to consistently work west coast hours. The ideal candidate would be willing to come onsite in Pasadena, CA 1-2 days per week.What You'll Do:-Concept and execute strategic package design, brand identity systems, packaging, in-store displays, and digital and physical environments-Shape compelling brand narratives and create visually stunning work across multiple disciplines-Develop and apply visual systems that adapt seamlessly across different mediums and channels-Apply a strong understanding of retail environments, shopper marketing, and in-store visual merchandising to your work-Manage the print production process from design through completion, ensuring design intent is preserved-Present and articulate design concepts and strategies clearly to internal teams and clients-Take direction from Creative Directors and Design Directors, incorporating feedback into refined, elevated work-Actively research and understand assigned brands, including positioning, key competitors, store landscape, and consumer insightsMust Have:-3+ years of professional design experience with a portfolio showcasing package design, brand architecture, brand identity, and multi-channel brand experiences-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field-Deep understanding of strategic brand building: brand story, character, tone of voice, visual equities, and how they influence execution-Exceptional design and typography skills with a sharp eye for detail-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)-Strong communication and presentation skillsNice to Have:-Experience with Figma or other prototyping tools is a plusThis client offers a great benefit package including: medical, dental, and vision insurance with monthly employer contributions and an employee medical reimbursement program, a 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation (increasing with tenure), sick leave, major federal holidays, a two-week end-of-year office closure, Summer Fridays, paid parental leave, basic Life and AD&D insurance, an end-of-year discretionary bonus, annual educational development reimbursement, and a flexible, entrepreneurial work environment with regular employee events, lunches, and outings.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
