Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hourJob description: Position Summary: We are hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics with a strong background in heavy commercial HVAC installations. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork and HVAC components in large-scale commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.Key Responsibilities: Measure, cut, and fabricate sheet metal for HVAC duct systems using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipmentInstall and assemble ductwork, vents, grilles, dampers, and related HVAC componentsRead and interpret HVAC blueprints, specifications, and shop drawingsEnsure proper alignment, fit, and secure installation of duct systemsPerform on-site modifications and adjustments as requiredCoordinate with other trades and project foremen to ensure timely and accurate installationAdhere to OSHA standards and safety protocols at all timesQualifications: 3+ years of experience in sheet metal work, with a focus on heavy commercial HVAC systemsAbility to read and interpret mechanical and HVAC blueprintsSkilled in layout, fabrication, and installation of ductwork (rectangular, spiral, and specialty)Familiarity with different types of HVAC systems and componentsMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spacesReliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as neededOSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plusApply Today!
