Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, operating ultrasound systems, capturing and transferring images to PACS, scheduling examinations, and assisting with department workflow.Responsibilities/Duties:Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental proceduresOperate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectivelyCapture and transfer images to PACS and physician workstationsAssist Radiologists during procedures as neededEnsure adequate supplies and proper equipment functionalitySchedule examinations and coordinate patient transportation when requiredAssist with orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound personnelMaintain accurate documentation and communication within the departmentRequirements:ARRT certification requiredRegistered by ARDMS requiredMinimum 2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience requiredExperience with Exact VU Ultrasound System requiredExperience performing prostate sonography requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
