It is well-suited for a seasoned benefits professional who values ownership, autonomy, and continuous improvement at scale.OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to support high-impact benefits initiatives and ongoing program administration within a complex, multi-regional environment. This individual contributor role is focused on benefits projects, vendor management, retirement program support, and continuous improvement rather than routine transactional employee support. The ideal candidate is experienced, analytical, self-directed, and comfortable operating independently in a matrixed organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead benefits projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and deliveryReview, support, and administer employee benefit programs, including health, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and EAP plansLead annual benefit renewal cycles in partnership with brokers, global benefits teams, and regional HR partnersProvide governance and administrative support for North America retirement and 401(k) programs, including periodic plan design reviewsParticipate in vendor evaluations, implementations, and ongoing vendor managementSupport global and regional benefits initiatives and major program rolloutsAdvise employees, managers, and HR business partners on benefit policies, issues, and resolutionsCoordinate and participate in market surveys; analyze benefits data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesDevelop ad hoc reports, dashboards, metrics, and data-driven benefits recommendationsPartner with HR, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Legal, and HRIS teams to ensure compliance, budget alignment, vendor contract management, and accurate system deliveryOptimize Workday functionality to streamline benefits administration and improve the employee experienceMaintain documentation, governance records, and audit trails for internal and external reviewsEnsure benefit programs comply with applicable labor laws and regulationsAll other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications8+ years of progressive benefits experience in a corporate or enterprise environmentStrong experience supporting retirement and 401(k) plan administrationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related fieldExperience leading benefits-related projects and implementationsStrong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiencyExcellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives to completionHigh level of discretion and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work effectively across time zones and with global stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting benefits programs across the U.S., Canada, and MexicoExperience using Workday HCMBackground in large, complex corporate environmentsWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule: 1 onsite day per week (typically Tuesdays, some flexibility)Based in Liberty Lake / Spokane, WARelocation assistance availableNo travel requiredCompensationBase salary range: $120,000–$140,000, depending on experienceBonus eligibleEqual Employment OpportunityThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the incumbent(s) of this job.
