React DeveloperCharlotte, NC – HybridContract – W2ResponsibilitiesDevelop responsive and scalable web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Build reusable UI components and integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js/Express.js.Design and implement scalable microservices and API-based solutions.Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and API best practices.Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other developers throughout the SDLC.Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.Troubleshoot application performance, production issues, and integration problems.Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and performance optimization.Required Skills8+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern React concepts such as Hooks, Context API, and state management.Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Experience developing backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.Good understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with NoSQL is a plus.Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Hands-on experience with Docker/containerization.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and debugging practices.Preferred SkillsExperience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.Experience with Redux, Zustand, or similar state-management frameworks.Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, or S3.Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging technologies.Experience with GraphQL.Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.Exposure to GenAI/AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
