Scientist Senior Associate

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Scientist Senior Associate with a technology company. This is a 36+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Thousand Oaks, CA . This is an onsite position.Summary:This role, part of the Pivotal Drug Product Technologies team, will provide support for drug product formulation and process development of biologics. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists responsible for the technical aspects of drug product commercialization and lifecycle management.Responsibilities:Participate in the planning, design, execution, and documentation of studies related to drug product formulation and process developmentSupport and conduct related studies, e.g. UF/DF, filtration, freeze/thaw and fill/finish, for products in various formulations and formats (liquid, lyophilized, etc)Evaluate process and product performance through analytical testing via measurement of pH, conductivity, osmolality, protein concentration, HPLC and CE methodologies, solid state characterization, particle quantitation/characterization, physical properties, etcData analysis and documentation/review in electronic notebooksAuthor, review, and data verify technical documents such as protocols, reports, and regulatory documentsClearly and consistently communicate data in progress reports and presentationsParticipate in cross-functional teams to progress product developmentRequirements:Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experienceDegree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, Materials Science, or a related disciplineUnderstanding of physical/chemical stability of proteinsAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with procedures and policiesProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelDesired skills:Self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitudeCritical thinking, problem solving, and independent research skillsGood organizational skills with strong attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsPay range: Up to $49.89 per HourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!ApTask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
