DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for managing ISO 9001 compliance as well as product inspection, testing, implementation of process controls, standards, procedures, and corrective actions in support of manufacturing and engineering teams. In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining and organizing all related certifications, including material, testing, procedural and environmental documents.
Principle Responsibilities:
· Maintains oversight of the ISO 9001 quality management system, ensuring continuous quality improvement, by addressing deficiencies in a timely manner and communicating with the team.
· Perform Incoming, in-process, and final inspections on products
· Document results, creating best practices as needed and utilizing existing procedures
· Review and maintain all product material and test certifications and provide customer documentation as needed
· Address quality issues and non-conformance
· Perform inspections and conduct product/process validation activities
· Support process compliance and creation of related documentation
· Provide production support and participate in continuous improvement activities
· Identification of non-conforming materials or products and creation of best practices and corrective action documentation
· Support customer complaint investigations
· Support vendor quality and delivery issues
· Support employee training functions as related to quality
· Environmental compliance record keeping and support of customer requests
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
· Excellent math, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong computer skills
· Experience using basic inspection tools, calipers, micrometer, dial indicators, etc
· Minimum of 3 years experience in quality/inspection role
· Strong attention to detail, highly focused and self-driven
· Ability to effectively communicate requirements and technical data both internally and with externally
· Familiarity with material certifications
· Familiarity with different machining processes
· Ideal candidates will have familiarity with ISO 9001 procedures
· Ideal candidates will have familiarity with environmental compliance documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
