Radiation Therapist - Oncology

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Radiation Therapist** to work at a Facility in **Philadelphia, PA. ** These are _registry_ positions with our company.**Pay Rate:** $60.38 / hour**Shift Details:**+ 8:00am-4:30pm**Minimum Qualifications:**+ At least 2 years with experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus.+ A valid and current license issued by the state of **PA**+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)+ Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.**Job Responsibilities:**+ Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist+ Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment+ Monitor patients during treatment sessions+ Explain procedures and answer patient questions+ Ensure accurate treatment delivery and patient safety+ Maintain and check radiation therapy machines+ Record treatment details and update patient records+ Observe patients for side effects and report concerns+ Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff+ Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelinesIf interested, please apply through this job post.
