Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be on the front line of our sales process, helping to identify and qualify new business opportunities for our sales team. You will be responsible for generating new leads, initiating conversations with potential clients, and setting up qualified meetings for our Account Executives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to jump start a career in sales or business development within a supportive and high-energy team environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through a mix of channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, site solicitations and other sales tools.Set Appointments: Schedule qualified meetings for the Sales team with key decision-makers and stakeholders.Collaborate: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to strategize on pipeline development and enhance outreach efforts.CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and manage a pipeline of leads in our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).Market Research: Conduct industry research to identify new business development opportunities and provide insights to the sales team on market trends.What We’re Looking For:1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (experience in waste and recycling is a plus but not required).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers at various levels.A self-starter with a passion for sales and an eagerness to learn and grow.Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance goals.Experience with CRM tools (Dynamics, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft) and sales engagement platforms is a plus.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.Positive attitude, coachable, and ready to contribute to a high-energy sales environment.
