You will help develop and maintain robust, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions. You will work alongside other developers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class mobile experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and FlutterImplement clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standardsIdentify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performanceWrite unit and UI tests to ensure code reliabilityDebug and resolve production issuesContribute to architectural decisions and technical documentationContribute to strategic decisions regarding mobile technology and project roadmap.QualificationsMust-Have:3+ years of experience professional Android development experienceStrong proficiency in KotlinSolid understanding of Android SDK and Android architecture componentsExperience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend service integration.TDD mindset. Strong understanding of software architecture principles and experience in making codebases more testable.Proven experience in developing and implementing automated test strategies.Solid knowledge of CI/CD - leveraging Git, and Bitbucket/Jenkins pipeline.Familiarity with MVVM, MVC, or similar architecture patterns.Experience integrating third-party libraries, SDKs, and services (e.g., Firebase, AlamoFire).Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Nice-to-Have:Proficiency in Core Bluetooth framework for Android, including BLE device scanning, connection management, and data transfer.Proficiency in FlutterGoogle Play Store release process experienceExperience maintaining legacy codebases (5+ years old)About FuelCloud:FuelCloud is building the future of fueling with products that help our customers monitor and control access to their fuel and energy.
