You will manage driver communication, scheduling, routing, and customer updates to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time service. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong problem-solving skills and a team-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and dispatch freight, expedited and LTL.Understanding Route Timing and EfficiencyCommunicate with drivers to provide support, direction, and updates.Track loads in real time and proactively address delays or issues.Provide accurate and timely status updates to customers. Awareness of customer impact (late pickups/missed stops/etc.)Provide timely management updates and daily metrics.Monitor DOT/HOS compliance, driver logs, and safety requirements.Utilize CXT dispatch software and maintain accurate data entry.Utilize CXT to manage communication with customers, drivers and management.Handling breakdown and delays.Collaborate with operations, customer service, and warehouse teams.Participate in weekend, after-hours, or on-call coverage as needed.Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.Qualifications 2+ years of Dispatching experience utilizing CXT (freight, expedited and LTL)Strong understanding of routing and DOT/HOS regulationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and remain calm under pressureProficiency with dispatch/CXT software and technologyStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsTeam-focused attitude with a professional, friendly demeanorFlexible availability for after-hours/on-call needsWhy Join Redkey Express?At Redkey Express, you're more than just a dispatcher—you're an essential part of our success.
