This role is full-time (32 hours per week), running August 2026 through June 2027. You'll collaborate with educators and help foster a supportive environment, providing individualized assistance to students and adapting instruction to promote independence and success. What we're looking for:Active Educational Technician II or III certificateExperience working as a paraprofessional or educational aideSkillful in supporting K-5 students within special education and life skill-based settingsStrong communication and organizational skillsPositive, adaptable approach and a team-oriented mindsetAbility to foster student confidence and independence Key responsibilities:Assist teachers in delivering life skills-focused instruction to elementary studentsImplement strategies, accommodations, and modifications as neededEncourage student engagement and support with classroom managementProvide one-on-one or small group assistance tailored to student needsHelp cultivate a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environmentTrack and document student progress for teachers and school staff You'll enjoy a dynamic school atmosphere, working alongside dedicated professionals who share your commitment to helping every student succeed.
