This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing accounting operations, leading the month-end close process, and supporting strategic business decisions through strong financial analysis and operational partnership.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong accounting knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team OversightLead and support the finance and accounting team to ensure strong performance and accountabilityProvide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staffEstablish clear goals, priorities, and expectations for the departmentFoster a culture focused on accuracy, urgency, ownership, and continuous improvementCollaborate with operational leadership to support company goals and financial successFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsAnalyze financial performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvementMaintain KPI reporting and provide operational financial insights to leadershipAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controlsMonth-End Close ManagementLead the month-end and year-end close processesEnsure journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules are completed accurately and on timeReview general ledger activity and resolve discrepancies efficientlyCoordinate with department leaders to gather financial data and documentationContinuously improve reporting accuracy and close timelinesAccounting & Operational SupportOversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash managementEnsure financial procedures are executed consistently across all locationsSupport audits, tax preparation, and external reporting requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and financial visibilityAssist leadership with special projects, operational analysis, and financial modelingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required xaygatp Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experiencePrevious leadership or management experience preferredStrong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and closing proceduresExperience in multi-site or operational environments is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and leadership skillsPreferred SkillsStrong business and operational mindsetProven ability to drive execution and accountabilityDetail-oriented with strong follow-throughExperience improving financial reporting and operational processesAbility to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial teams
