Production Technician I - APEX

The Production Technician I - APEX that supports our SDC Business has responsibility for Apex biological indicator production. All work must be performed accurately and timely using company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standards. This position requires the ability to work as a team and effectively communicate with various positions to meet Biological Indicator production demands.

Effectively and efficiently follow Apex Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Exhibit excellent documentation practices.
Interact cordially and effectively with personnel within the Apex production team
Facilitate the assembly of Mesa’s Apex product lines which includes pouching, sealing
and labeling of in-process materials.
Weekly cleaning of the laboratory and documenting process in the cleaning logs.
Operation of Apex equipment including labelers and sealers.
Maintain records for all equipment.
Assist with the resolution of Investigation Report, Corrective/Preventative Actions (CAPA) and Non-Conforming Material Reports (NMRs).
Application of the Mesa Labs Quality Policy and actively monitor quality of outcomes in the performance of all assigned tasks.
Safety

Qualifications/Education:
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience in a Federal Drug Administration (FDA) regulated industry preferred
Strong knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
Any equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Basic mathematical skills required
Intermediate computer skills and knowledge working with Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation/Benefits:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.
Salary for this position is $20 an hour and a 5% pay differential for Sat/Sun
