Loan Closer

Middle Office Loan CloserWe are currently working with a well-established private equity fund seeking a middle office loan closer to join their growing team. This position is temp-to-perm and sits in Manhattan 5days per week.Responsibilities:Prior experience in coordinating the settlement of loan products and securities in private markets/financial services industry.Experience with fund structures, SPVs, a tax blockersExperience with specialized credit and lending products (Collateralized Loan Obligations, Project Finance, Loan Trading, and Derivatives)In depth knowledge of ClearPar and LSTA settlement guidelinesExperience with distressed trading and settlements, bankruptcy reorganizations, and common debt amendments.Experience interacting with brokers and securities counterpartsKYC and Tax experience is a plusAccounting and General Ledger knowledge is a plusExcellent at communication and required escalationStrong quantitative and qualitative skillsEntrepreneurial, driven and proactiveMust be comfortable as the primary liaise between the front office and back officeQualifications:Knowledge of syndicated loans marketUnderstanding of Loan Facility Agreements and supporting documentationExperience with system processing of credit eventsUnderstanding of general ledgersDegree in Finance, Accounting or EconomicsKnowledge of loan, TRS, and fixed income settlements
