W2 Contract - Java Fullstack Engineer (Austin Locals)

Title - Java Full Stack EngineerLocation - Austin TXLocals Only - Onsite interview is a mustWe are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in Java development, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and modern application frameworks. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.Develop RESTful APIs and backend services.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver solutions.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.Optimize application performance and scalability.Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.Create and maintain technical documentation.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience in Java application development.Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Spring Framework.Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).Experience with Git and version control systems.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Microservices architecture.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
