RN STAFF NURSE - FIRST WEST (1W)

Registered NurseProvides nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; promotes restorative/supportive care; ensures safe medication administration and documentation.Current RN license by MS Board of Nursing; ability to read/write/communicate effectively.CPR or ACLS certification.Coordinate care and perform assessments.Develop Plans of Care and educate patients/families.Document accurately; report changes.Maintain infection prevention; administer meds safely.Participate in performance improvement.Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.Assist with patient repositioning and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
