Job Title: Python DeveloperLocation: New Jersey (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) Experience: 4–5 Years Domain: Banking / Financial ServicesJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Python Developer with 4–5 years of experience to join our banking client’s technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development along with solid experience in Oracle Database. This role involves building scalable applications, working with large datasets, and supporting mission-critical banking systems in a hybrid work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications and services. Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle DB (PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers). Work on backend development, APIs, and data processing pipelines. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from Oracle databases. Optimize SQL queries and ensure high performance of database operations. Integrate applications with internal/external banking systems. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with banking standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles. Troubleshoot production issues across application and database layers. Required Skills & Qualifications4–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development. Strong expertise in Oracle Database: Advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming Stored procedures, functions, triggers Performance tuning and query optimization Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. Strong experience in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience working with relational databases (Oracle preferred). Familiarity with data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy). Experience with Git or other version control systems. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
