Position Title: Phlebotomist IIWork Location: 2511 Pine Ridge Road, Naples, FLAssignment Duration: 3 MonthsWork Schedule: 1st Shift / 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday with every other Saturday)Work Arrangement: OnsiteWork Environment: Patient Service Center (PSC) - High Volume SiteVaccines Required:RTB(Hepatitis B offered but may be declined)Color Vision Screening Required: YesCandidates will be responsible for drawing, processing, and handling specimens primarily for geriatric patients in a busy PSC environment. This role requires at least 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience with strong venipuncture skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.How many draws are required daily? 30-40Position Summary:The main function of a phlebotomist is to perform blood collection procedures, specimen processing, patient interaction, and workflow support while ensuring specimen integrity and excellent patient care in a high-volume environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using straight and butterfly needlesProcess specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, freezing, and packaging for transportAccurately verify patient information, requisitions, and specimen labelsCollect and store specimens according to established laboratory proceduresExplain specimen collection procedures clearly and professionally to patientsMaintain specimen integrity and proper storage conditions at all timesRestock supplies and prepare collection areas throughout the shiftHandle a high daily patient volume while remaining organized and detail-orientedFollow OSHA, DEP, and laboratory safety regulationsAssist with workflow coordination and support site operations as neededStand for extended periods throughout the workdayParticipate in hands-on training with the Hiring Manager and Site CoordinatorQualification & Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience requiredStrong experience performing venipuncture in a fast-paced PSC, laboratory, or hospital environmentExperience working with geriatric patients preferredAbility to perform 30-40 draws dailyComfortable working on feet for most of the shiftStrong patient communication and customer service skillsBasic computer proficiency and data entry accuracy requiredAbility to work effectively with a small team in a busy environmentPosition is offered by a no fee agency.
