The schoolserves students from preschool through 4th grade, and enjoys high student engagement and familysupport.Salary and benefits commensurate with education and experience per teacher's contract.Job Purpose:To collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to deliver specializedinstruction and interventions that meet the unique needs of students with IEPs. They will demonstratestrong instructional skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a commitment to equity andinclusion.Key Responsibilities:? Deliver individualized instruction to students with IEPs in both inclusive (push-in) and small group(pull-out) settings.? Collaborate with general education teachers to support access to grade-level curriculum andaccommodations in the classroom.? Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students'academic and behavioral needs.? Regularly assess student progress using a variety of tools and adjust instruction to promotegrowth.? Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education guidelines and timelines.? Maintain clear and consistent communication with families, caregivers, and team membersregarding student progress and needs.? Actively participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional learningopportunities.Qualifications:? Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited university.? Licensing: Professional Educator License (PEL) along with proper Illinois endorsement.? Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate withdiverse groups, including students, parents/guardians, teachers, and community agencies.?
