Material Coordinator

Construction Materials Coordinator / Warehouse Specialist We are seeking a dependable, organized, and self-motivated Materials Coordinator / Warehouse Specialist to oversee the receiving, organization, tracking, and staging of materials for our fabrication shop and field crews. This position is ideal for someone with experience in the plumbing, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or pipe, valve, and fitting (PVF) industry who enjoys staying organized and takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming material shipments. Check packing slips against purchase orders and report shortages or damaged materials. Organize and maintain inventory of pipe, valves, fittings, and mechanical materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard. Stage materials for fabrication projects and field installation crews. Load and unload trucks using a forklift. Track inventory and assist with material control. Organize work packs, material bundles, and documentation for fabrication jobs. Assist with receiving, labeling, and organizing Material Test Reports (MTRs) and other project documentation. Work closely with the fabrication shop and project managers to ensure materials are available when needed. Perform general warehouse and shop duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Forklift experience preferred. Working knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings (PVF), and mechanical construction materials. Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or industrial environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a warehouse/shop environment. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
